Kai has already worked as a photographer in a wide variety of fields, developing the hands-on mentality that makes him unique.
It all started with a degree in photography, which he completed with honouring in 2004.
After that, he worked as a freelance assistant for various national and international photographers and also made his first excursions into reportage, celebrity and portrait photography.
From 2006 onwards, he realised his first major projects for the German SPD party and portrayed celebrities from music, film and politics for magazines and music labels.
In 2009, Kai discovered his love for still life photography and interior design. Since then, he has concentrated on the skilful staging of exclusive furniture, kitchens and bathroom accessories. On behalf of clients such as Dr. Hauschka, Alape, Dornbracht, Herzbach, Kludi, KS-Original and Bäro, he creates his own visual language and the matching lighting moods in his studio in Hamburg – sometimes artificial, sometimes natural, but always exactly matching the product.
